Introduction

About Us
Our department was established in August 2007 to meet the need for human resources in the management of educational and cultural sectors. We aim to equip our students with the knowledge and skills required in the fields of educational and administrative management. Our courses are carefully designed to support students in developing clear career paths and focus on providing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in their areas of study. We strive to help students succeed in their academic pursuits and prepare them for national examinations.
Degree Program
The Bachelor’s program is designed to prepare students to become teaching and administrative staff in elementary and junior high schools. The Master’s and Doctoral programs aim to equip students with the research knowledge and skills needed to explore educational issues. The credit requirements for each degree program are as follows:
  1. Bachelor’s degree program: 128 credits in total; 65 required and 63 elective.
  2. Master’s degree program: 30 credits in total; 10 required and 20 elective.
  3. Doctoral degree program: 28 credits in total; 12 required and 16 elective.
Course Program

Our courses are organized into four programs to meet the demand for human resources in different professional sectors, as outlined below:

  1. Civil Service Training Program: Prepares students to take civil service examinations in areas such as educational administration (including school administration), general administration, personnel administration, and general civil service.
  2. Cultural and Educational Management Program: Equips students with the knowledge and skills required for managing cultural and educational sectors.
  3. Teacher Training Program: Provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to become elementary school teachers, and supports them in passing the teaching qualification examination and securing teaching positions.
  4. Research Training Program: Enhances students’ knowledge and skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including applications in language, statistics, assessment, and related fields.
Faculty
There are nine faculty members with diverse teaching and research backgrounds in areas such as Educational Administration, Educational Philosophy, Educational Psychology, Educational Sociology, Multicultural Education, Teacher Education and related fields. Most of our faculty members are also actively involved in supporting students with their internship training.
Vision for future

Our courses are designed to integrate both theory and practice in general and educational administration. We expect our students to develop the following knowledge and skills:

  • The ability to prepare for and take civil service examinations.
  • The ability to engage in the management of cultural and educational sectors.
  • The competence to become effective school teachers, with knowledge and skills in innovative teaching, learning environments, and administrative practices.
  • The ability to conduct educational research, along with critical thinking skills for exploring educational issues.
